America's opiate addiciton crisis...the North Korean nuclear threat...the National Flood Insurance Program...all figured in Wednesday's "Ask The Congressman" on WOBM-AM. But critics of Republican plans to repeal and replace Obamacare steered much of the dialogue with Representative Tom MacArthur (R-3).

Protesters gathered in the dozens outside our Townsquare Media studios on Thursday night ahead of Shore Congressman Tom MacArthur's (U.S. NJ 3rd District) appearance on 'Ask The Congressman'.

The biggest local story of the past week was clearly the demonstration that took place just outside the WOBM studios, as we hosted our regular 'Ask The Congressman' with Rep. Tom MacArthur.  Now that some time has passed and we've had the opportunity to digest what we saw, it's a good time to look back and reflect on the lessons learned...

It was quite a scene on the streets of Downtown Toms River on Thursday evening, as upwards of 100 citizens came together to get Congressman Tom MacArthur's attention.

Shore-based Congressman Tom MacArthur (R-3) visits Townsquare Media in Toms River this Thursday, for the latest installment of WOBM-AM'S "Ask The Congressman." But if you would rather reach him sooner instead of later, he holds a telephone town hall meeting Wednesday evening.

As of January 20th, Inauguration Day, the United States of America will swear in the wealthiest man to ever hold the office of President. On that theme, one website took a look at all 50 states to identify the wealthiest politicians in each. New Jersey's entry on the list is someone that Shore residents should recognize.
