Amazing

There's no denying that it's cold today in New Jersey. With temperatures only approaching 30, and a brutal windchill making it feel like it's in the teens, today isn't a pleasant day to be outside. But there is one thing that we can take comfort in - it could always be worse.

It's amazing what can be done with technology these days. High quality cameras have gotten so small and light that it's possible to literally attach one to an eagle and see what the bird sees. The group Freedom Conservation did exactly that, and set the bird to flight from the very top of the world's tallest skyscraper, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. The footage that they got is absolutely astounding.

Whoa! This has to be one of the scariest views of a fireworks display ever. Obviously, making and storing fireworks is a delicate process, and at this factory in Columbia, things took a scary turn a few days ago. The whole thing went off, damaging a number of buildings but, thankfully, only injuring two people. Check out the stunning video below:

Wow. That's all I can say about this kid. He almost perfectly mirrors Patrick Swayze's career defining moves from "Dirty Dancing" to each hip twist and foot move. Watch for yourself. The kid truly nails it!

Two years ago, a man in Canada miraculously survived the sinking of his boat. Along with the craft, a camera filled with photographs went down with the ship. The pictures included not only vacation photos but also important, sentimental pictures as well. Amazingly, after two years underwater, the camera and the pictures were recovered. I don't know about you, but I've thrown a classic Rubik's Cube in rage plenty of times. Just short of taking the stickers off and putting them back on in the right order, I'm pretty useless when it comes to solving them. But not this speedy teenager. Watch this kid not only solve a Rubik's Cube in seconds, but he goes on to solve others, sight unseen. Watch:

  As I wrote about last summer, Niagara Falls truly is one of the wonders of the world that you should try to see at some point in your life. But just when you thought that it couldn't get any more jaw dropping, our friend The Polar Vortex dropped in and literally brought the falls to a frozen halt. I'm not quite sure how to describe this video besides unbelievable. This athlete, Damien Walters, is obviously a perfect specimen of fitness, grace, and daring. If this isn't an argument for parkour (or "free running") as an Olympic event, I don't know what is.
