A month long investigation by the Toms River Police Department's Special Enforcement Team has resulted in the arrest of a Township resident for allegedly selling illegal prescription drugs out of his Tudor Court home, according to authorities.

Police department spokesman Ralph Stocco said authorities executed a search warrant last Thursday and took 60-year-old Vincent Perone into custody after seizing a large quantity of pills.

Perone was charged with two counts of possession of oxycodone, two counts of possession with the intent to distribute oxycodone, possession with the intent to distribute Oxymorphone, two counts of possession of Alprazolam, possession of Oxycodone and Hydrochloride.

Perone's bail was set at $50,000.00 no ten percent.
