Stafford mom accused of selling drugs outside her home

Stafford Police have arrested a woman for allegedly selling heroin outside her Mooring Road home in the Manahawkin section of the Township with her 14-month-old child nearby.

Anonymous complaints led to an investigation by the Stafford Township Drug Enforcement Unit, according to authorities.

22-year-old Alesha Connelly was arrested Saturday night for possession and distribution of heroin, possession of prescription legend drugs without a prescription, and endangering the welfare of her child.

Connelly was being held in the Ocean County jail in Toms River on $75,000 bail.
