Sea Girt 5K Run, Walk Registration Open To Fight Childhood Cancer

Calling all runners, walkers, rollers, & kiddos for a great cause! It's time for the Sea Girt 5K Run/Walk/Roll Kids Races & Activities!

The Sea Girt 5K, is in its’ 31^st year and it has truly become a summer tradition at the Jersey Shore! One of the largest 5k races in NJ, the event attracts nearly 2,500 participants.

This is one of the best ways to combat childhood cancer and help the Ashley Lauren Foundation.

Race Director, Mike D’Altrui says,

The Sea Girt 5K combines an amazing sense of community pride, volunteerism, small town fun, summer vibes, competition and comradery. We love putting it together and all the incredible participants, sponsors and volunteers that make it happen. We hope even more people will get to experience it this year to support the tremendous work of the Ashley Lauren Foundation

The 5k run/walk starts at 8:30 am and features 4 live bands on the race course, offers a custom t-shirt, awards, food, fun, and an after-party at Fratello’s Restaurant & Bar.

More Details About The Kids Race

The Kids Races are shorter sprints from 25 – 400 yards that start at 10:00 am. Kids' activities are included and run from 8 – 11 AM, featuring an inflatable slide, obstacle course, pony rides, face painting, a rock-climbing wall, ice cream truck, and more! Kids also get a t-shirt, medal, and goody bag.
