Route 70 Flea Market in Lakewood closer to being developed
The Route 70 Flea Market in Lakewood has moved closer to being developed after the Township Planning Board Tuesday night reportedly approved a proposal to develop the 22-acre site.
The Lakewood Scoop reports the developer presented plans to build 166 town homes, 15,000 square footage of retail space and a 5,000 square foot community building.
The flea market has been operating on the property for more than 30 years, since it was leased by Ray Reynolds, according to The Lakewood Scoop. The flea market is run by the second generation Reynolds family.
