If there is one thing that keeps be repeated about Paul Walker, it's how incredibly generous the late actor was.

The heartwarming stories keep pouring in about the 40-year-old 'Fast and the Furious' star, who died Nov. 30 in a car crash at a benefit for his own charity, Reach Out Worldwide.

The latest story to come to light shows not only his generosity but his humility: Several years ago, Walker secretly purchased a $10,000 engagement ring for an Iraqi veteran and his fiancee. While in Bailey Banks and Biddle Jewelers in Santa Barbara, Calif., the actor had overheard the couple discussing the ring, which they ultimately deemed too expensive. Walker then purchased the ring on the sly, requesting that he remain anonymous.

"It was such a heartwarming story," says Irene King, a sales associate at the store who remembers the event. "To do something like that to a perfect stranger is just unbelievable,"

Banks and Biddle did, in fact, keep his secret, until his untimely death -- and the couple is probably finding out only now who was behind their amazing gift!
