I saw something beautiful when I went to fill up this afternoon - gas below $2 a gallon.

This hasn't been the first time that gas has hit below $2 in Ocean County, but in the past few weeks it's been a hit and miss game of cat and mouse - hearing from friends, running out to find the stations, and sometimes not bothering because they were too far away.

But today, from my commute home to my commute to work, every station that I passed was below the magic mark of $2.

It was great to fill up my whole tank for less than $25. When it used to cost almost $40 a tank to fill up, it's a pretty significant savings. If I fill up once a week, that's a $60 savings per month, and I drive a pretty efficient car. For people with bigger vehicles, the savings are even better.

Has the dip in gas prices helped out your bottom line?
