NJ Family Jumps Draw Bridge In SUV

A family on their way to a vacation home in Cape May were forced to make a split-second decision when the drawbridge they were driving over started to rise while they were still on it.

I've been searching like crazy for actual video of the jump, but to no avail. I know the car jumped "only" 3-6 feet, but in my mind it was some crazy movie stunt where the bridge was already at a 45-degree-angle and they floored it up the ramp and caught massive air.

Regardless, it's a pretty terrifying moment. For the operator to say "sun glare" made him not notice the car makes me really worried about going over any drawbridge.
