Moments ago, NASA's Antares rocket, launched from the Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia has exploded on liftoff.

As this is a developing story, details are sketchy at the moment, the official NASA stream of the event said that the "vehicle failed at liftoff".

This was an unmanned mission, NASA has told news outlets that they "do not have any indication of loss of life" in the explosion.
