Meet Harper – Ocean County Pet of the Week
Harper's story will melt your heart, she's ready for her forever home!
Harper had such a terrible start in life that it's a wonder she is as happy as she is. She is about 2 1/2 years old and this super sweet and happy girl was in such distress when she was picked up back in April in such a sad state. She was found wandering around a junkyard with a muzzle wrapped tightly around her mouth. She couldn't eat or drink......she couldn't even bark. Thankfully someone finally spoke up for her and she was thrilled to be rescued and get that awful thing off of her face. Her mouth is all healed up and she has gained almost 20 lbs. and Harper has been waiting to meet the family of her dreams for a long time now. She is a bubbly, silly girl with lots of energy that loves to play and loves to snuggle up with you too and get attention. She is well-behaved and gets along with most larger dogs but will need a cat-free home. She would be ecstatic if you gave her the great home she's so deserving of.
