Let’s Have Some Fun, How Strong is Your Stomach Jersey Shore?

I was recently out when for no particular reason I spotted a few items that made me say ”hmmm” now was that ”hmmm” an intriguing one or was it and I can’t believe this one or possibly a gross one. I will leave it up for you to decide, but let's have some fun and look at a few items that make you go ”hmmm” lol

First up is ”salmon spread” and don’t get me wrong I like salmon, but salmon out of plastic cup......hmmm. Anyone out their tried a canned salmon spread? Do bears like it? They seem to be a good salmon critic. Says this is a product of Poland. Ingredients actually do not seem crazy. Atlantic Salmon, onion, water, parsley root, tomato sauce, rapeseed oil, semolina, sugar, soy protein, wheat fiber, salt, spices, citric acid. I've seen worse lol Have you ever tried salmon spread?

So we were driving through Georgia and we saw ”boiled peanuts  5 miles” and we decided to stop by and get a serving. I must admit the big pot cooking the peanuts outside was cool looking, but that was about the best part of this southern dish. Lotta folks love boiled peanuts however I am not one of them. Just prefer dry and roasted not wet and boiled....slimy. So when I saw boiled peanuts in a can.....again hmmm. Have you tried these?

Holy mackerel it’s in a can! Just seems like a fish that's at it's best fresh not in a can of brine aka saltwater. Lots of people think it's a strong tasting and greasy fish. Some compare a bit to salmon. Jury is out and I’m not opening this can, have you?

Do you think they could have come up with a better name then ”potted meat”? What is potted meat? Is there any meat in it? According to ingredients there is some chicken and beef. The beef is ”tripe” aka stomach lining. The chicken is listed as ”mechanically separated” which is kinda horrific. Have you tried the potted meat? I knew a guy in college who loved Vienna Sausage.....I think they may be in the same ”can family”.

This may be the most visibly offensive item I spotted. The name is gross, the can is nasty because right on the front it says contains pork plasma and photo is not tempting. By the way pork plasma, according to google, is an ingredient often found in wet dog and cat foods...Nuff Said!
