Jersey City drug suspect arrested in Manchester
Circling a Manchester parking lot and arousing suspicions of police leads to drug charges against a suspect from Jersey City.
Daquan E. Clinton, 25, allegedly had about 30 bags of heroin, 10 grams of MDMA (Ecstacy), marijuana and drug-related items on him during a Sunday-night encounter with members of the township's Narcotics Enforcement team, police said.
According to police, officers stopped Clinton's Mazda Protege around 9:40 PM after watching the car cruise the Quck Chek lot on Ridgeway Road. Ocean County Sheriff's K-9 Officer Kevin Fennessey and his partner Stosh aided in the search.
He was released after arrest and processing to await a municipal court date.
