A wanted man who was allegedly jumping on someone's windshield was arrested late last week in Gloucester County.

Police Called to Apartment Complex

The Glassboro Police Department says just before 2:00 early Friday morning, August 8th, their officers were called to the Hollybush Gardens Apartment Complex off of New Street for a report of a domestic dispute where a man was allegedly jumping on the victim's windshield, causing damage.

That man left before police arrived; however, he was located in the complex by other officers checking the area.

According to officials, the suspect, later identified as 24-year-old Jhaquay Murray of Glassboro, gave officers a fake name, but once he heard his real name over a police radio, he allegedly fled the scene.

Active Warrant Discovered

Officers learned that Murray had an active warrant for weapons offenses and for missing sentencing out of the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

Authorities were able to set up a perimeter and with help from a K9 from the Monroe Township Police Department, Murray surrendered without incident.
