New Jersey's Top High Schools for 2025
We're about a month into the 2025-2026 school year, and hopefully, your kids have settled into a routine.
You know the drill: wake up early, go to school, work on projects, do homework, sports practices, games, etc.
But as a parent, your routine often involves checking up on your high schoolers. Are they turning in their homework on time, are their projects getting done, and how are their grades?
We often hear about how New Jersey has some of the best schools in the nation, but what high schools are the best of the best here in the Garden State?
U.S. News and World Report recently analyzed 24,000 public high schools across all 50 states to compile a comprehensive list.
Their benchmarks: "The top-ranked schools have a high rate of students who scored above expectations in math, science and reading state assessments, passed an array of college-level exams, and graduated in four years."
We'll share the list of the top 20 from across the state in just a second, but U.S. News also broke down schools by region. Here are those results...
