An early morning fire on Thursday at the Atlantic Gardens mobile home park in Egg Harbor Township is being investigated by fire officials.

The fire was reported at 4:55 am Thursday, with four local fire companies responding. No one was injured in the blaze.

Fire Guts EHT Mobile Home

In a Facebook post, the Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company reported that they were one of the fire companies dispatched to the scene at the  Atlantic Gardens complex on the 6600 block of the Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township.

The Farmington Volunteer Fire Company #4, the Bargaintown Volunteer Fire Company, and the City of Northfield Volunteer Fire Company also assisted in fighting the fire.

Arriving firefighters were met with smoke coming from the roof and an active fire in the attic.

Firefighters took aggressive action to contain the fire in the interior of the mobile home.

Fire crews were on the scene for about three hours on Thursday morning, under the command of Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company Assistant Chief Craig Thompson.
