If you spent even five minutes on any of New Jersey's roadways this summer, especially the Garden State Parkway, no one needs to tell you that New Jersey is a major vacation destination.

We have a lot of great places to visit, too. New Jersey is chock full of great towns and awesome attractions from North Jersey to the South and of course the amazing Jersey Shore.

The folks at Places You'll See narrowed all the great vacation destinations in New Jersey down to the place they chose as the best vacation destination in the Garden State, and I would imagine each great New Jersey town would hope it's them, but it's hard to argue the choice they made.

The travel experts at this website chose the best vacation spot in each state in our great nation, and their choice for New Jersey is a town full of beauty, history, and of course a great beach and boardwalk.

This much beloved and often honored town has been on the top of lists you want to be on for a long time now, so it's no surprise that Cape May is the town in the spotlight here.

The site makes it clear that Cape May is not the Jersey Shore you saw on MTV, and that's certainly the truth.

Once again, we congratulate Cape May on another well-deserved honor.
