New Jersey of course sees its fair share of travelers.

From beach bums to business meetings and due to our being sandwiched between New York and Philadelphia people travel in and around our state a lot!

Odds are a lot of people who visit may not take the time to figure out which hotel to stay at during their travels.

They'll do what I usually do and just arrange hotels by price and find one that has the best reviews for the least amount of dollar signs.

There's nothing wrong with that, however, if you want to stay in a hotel that combines culinary expertise with charm you'll want to pay a visit to one of the best hotels in New Jersey.

This hotel overlooks the beautiful Navesink River and has been operating since 1928.

Don't let the age fool you though, this hotel offers some fantastic modern amenities!

During the summer months, you can lounge by their gorgeous pool, and in the winter you can cozy up by the hotel's massive fireplace.

What Hotel Was Voted One Of The Best In New Jersey?

Believe it or not, this gorgeous hotel is right in Monmouth County and is located near one of my favorite downtown areas near the Jersey Shore!

If you want to stay at this hotel, you'll have to travel to Red Bank New Jersey, and book your stay at the legendary Molly Pitcher Inn, according to Only In Your State.

The Molly Pitcher Inn offers amazing food, you can even book a reservation if you aren't a guest at the hotel!

If a big fancy dinner isn't your thing, the Molly Pitcher Inn also features one of the "most elegant pubs" in the state where you can grab a drink and see some live music.

When it's nice and sunny outside you can take your drink to go, and enjoy it poolside!

What's really nice is that for the most part booking a room at New Jersey's best hotel won't break the bank.

The couple of dates I looked at had room rates right around $189 a night, so if you're looking for a nice weekend getaway in a great New Jersey town it's a great deal.

Small towns in New Jersey you didn't know existed

There are so many small towns in New Jersey that you may have heard of, especially in our listening area of Central and North Jersey. In the southern part of the state, where we have less reach and interaction, there are towns almost guaranteed, you've never heard of. Many of them in Atlantic, Cumberland and Salem Counties. Some are even in Burlington and Camden County. Here's a quick look at just of few of them.
