Is Your Outside of Your Home Ready for Spring?

I'm ready for Spring!  Next week is the 1st day of Spring, March 20th.  Is your home ready?

It's the place that you hang your keys and coat.  It's where love is ... it's your home!  Is it ready for Spring?

Here are some ideas to freshen up your house and get it ready for Spring thanks to the nest:

Clean out all the light fixtures and change the bulbs out on your porch and deck around the outside of your house.

Get your front door ready.  Paint it with a fresh color that matches the outside of your house.  Maybe a new welcome mat, too.

Maybe the Winter created cracks on your walkway, repair them.  Power wash the walkway, and the outside of the house.

One of my favorite things to do in the Spring, is plant flowers and bushes.  I love them in front and back of my house.  So now it's time to start looking around for that perfect foliage for your house.  How about flower boxes, they always makes a house adorable.

Cut off some dead branches and lay down some mulch, to give it a crisp look.

A fresh coat of paint on your outside furniture with new cushions.  If you're anything like me, I save up for something special for my porch every year so I have something new to look at when I pull up.

Clear and clean out the gutters.  The job that I just can't stand, but I know I have to do it.  And it really helps.
