Indiana man threatens girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend in Lakehurst, police say
An Indiana man is arrested in Lakehurst after police say he made terroristic threats towards his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend over a reported custody dispute on Saturday October 20 around 12:47 pm.
Police arrived to the residence and found a woman outside and the Indiana man inside allegedly making threats.
When police collared 33-year old Carlos Villarreal of Hobert, Indiana they found a loaded glock 43 handgun, loaded .45 caliber handgun, multiple 9mm's, hollow point ammo and a switch blade knife inside his car.
Villarreal was placed under arrest and transported to Lakehurst Police Headquarters for processing.
Manchester Police also responded to the scene and assisted with the investigation.
Villarreal was processed and charged with two counts of Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose (2nd Degree), two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon (2nd Degree), one count of Terroristic Threats (3rd Degree), two counts of Prohibited Weapons (4th Degree), one count of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon (4th Degree), and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (4th Degree).
He was also issued a warrant for the charges and transported to the Ocean County Jail where he was lodged pending a mandatory court appearance with the Ocean County Superior Court.
The public is reminded that all criminal charges are merely accusations and all subjects are innocent until proven guilty.
