I had made a deal with myself that I would stop writing about CDC announcements and other health updates because I AM SICK OF IT!

But this piece of news is just too good to pass up.

Personally.....there are a few words that I am okay with never hearing again in my life: social distance, face mask, hand sanitizer....and QUARANTINE!

As the COVID-19 Vaccine distribution continues, a lot of people have wondered when "normal life" will be able to return.

Well this piece of news signifies that it is sooner than you think...(I know, it's still not soon enough)

We just got ahold of some breaking news from the CDC and it is good.

People who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 -- as in, have had both doses of the vaccine administered -- do NOT need to quarantine.

And this holds true even if these people come into direct contact with the coronavirus.

And just to clarify, the phrase "fully vaccinated" means that it has been at least two weeks since being given the second dose.

Unfortunately, this piece of news does not mean we are completely out of the woods.

Those who are fully vaccinated are still expected to wear face masks, social distance and sanitize as often as possible.

This is because health professionals are still uncertain if these fully vaccinated people can carry and spread the virus to others.

However, according to the CDC, "vaccination has been demonstrated to prevent symptomatic Covid-19; symptomatic and pre-symptomatic transmission is thought to have a greater role in transmission than purely asymptomatic transmission."

So all signs are pointing up.

Guys, we are so close.

I can feel it.
