How Do You Keep Busy in a Power Outage?

Over the last week, a lot of us have become experts at keeping ourselves entertained with no light, no TV, and no Internet. So how have you kept yourself busy?

Luckily, I've had power here at work, so I brought my laptop to work with me and charged it every day so I could watch at least one movie or a couple TV episodes on DVD each night (a piece of advice that I found out the hard way - don't pick a long movie. I tried watching Braveheart, not realizing that it was nearly three hours long, and my battery died about 3/4 of the way through).

Friends posted pictures (when they could get a cell signal) of playing cards, board games by candle light, and hey it makes hide and seek a whole new challenge!
