How Do YOU Get Fevers Down–From A Mom Who’s Been Trying Now For About 12 Hours?

Well as a Mom or a Dad, I'm sure you've gotten this call already.  It's the school calling that my child is sick with a high fever.So today Mommy has the day off because Abby is so sick.  I just can't get her fever down.  That scares me a little bit.  Hopefully soon it will break.

Gosh there's nothing worse than seeing your child go from...Mommy I want this, I'm hungry, Can I play outside, I want to do that.....to nothing but sleep...sleep and more sleep.  At that moment I just want her to get up and run and run and run.

I've done the Tylenol thing...it keeps going up and down ( so I'm glad it's going down a little bit), the wet wash cloth with a little bit of rubbing alcohol, ice and some good ol' popsicles...It was down this morning a little bit when she woke up so I'm thankful for that.  But it seems to have gone up again.  We are getting ready to head to the Dr. now...

How do you break a fever?  What do you use?
