"She" might be a little broken and worn but the Bayville Dinosaur has been a "huge" landmark in Ocean County.  Now the town and county that loves her so much is rallying to keep her right here where she belongs.

There is a campaign underway on Facebook to save the dinosaur, Virginia.  You can join the group at Berkeley Township Citizens which has more than 600 members.  It's a closed group but anyone wishing to join the group must be approved by the administrator.

I'm personally hoping that Mayor Armato plans on contacting the owner of the property to see if they're willing to sell the dinosaur to our town.  The property owners are from another state.

There are several great places in Bayville for this landmark...The Historical Society, just a little bit down Route 9 from where it is now or possibly Veteran's Park or keep it right where it is.

It's been here for about 80 years since a taxidermist bought the brontosaurus.  Why a brontosaurus, I have no idea?

Where do you think the dinosaur belongs?

When you think of "Virginia" the Bayville dinosaur, what do you think?

Should we keep this landmark in Ocean County?
