Hello Francis–Shawn & Sue’s Pet of the Week

Meet Francis!  He's ready to be adopted and ready for his forever home.

This happy and spunky little guy is Francis, a shepherd mix pup that is only about 10 or 11 months old. Francis was found wandering on a rural road late one night and was happy to be brought in and given a nice comfy bed and a good meal. We were surprised that no one ever came to claim this sweet little boy so now, he's looking for a fresh start in life with a loving family. Francis is very friendly and outgoing, and seems to love everyone he meets. He doesn't have much shyness about him and is always happy to meet new friends. Once Francis has met you once, he remembers you and will do the happy-butt-dance if he spots you while out for a walk. Francis is well behaved and walks nicely on a leash. He sits politely when asked and takes treats gently. Francis loves to run and play in our exercise yard and would love a home with a nice yard to romp and roam in. He is interested and excited to see other dogs but has a bit of a prey drive when it comes to cats and other smaller animals. Francis is ready to meet his special someone that will give him a great home and never let him go again.
