Gonzalez Found Guilty Of 2009 Gun Rampage
In ten days after his trial began, Jaime Gonzalez has been found guilty on 5 attempted murder charges as well as all weapons and drug charges stemming from a massive gun battle which left five Lakewood Police officers injured in 2009, The Lakewood Scoop reports.
Gonzalez, 43, now faces a 20 year prison sentence for each attempted murder charge plus a first degree drug charge.
On Setember 24, 2009, police raided Gonzalez's home on a no-knock warrant. Gonzalez responded with a reign of fire causing a massive gun battle of about 150 rounds. Of the five officers injured, four sustained gunshot wounds.
