Followup – Eagle Video is a Hoax

Well, it seems like we have our answer - the video of an apparently hungry eagle picking up a human baby is a hoax.

As we told you earlier today, the video went viral online yesterday and garnered millions of views on YouTube, but some eagle eyed Internet users noticed a few things that just weren't quite right.

It turns out that the video was the work of a group of computer animation students at a university in Montreal.

You have to give them credit, they did a pretty good job (after all, in our poll it fooled 68% of you), but those little inconsistencies are what ended up outing the video as a fake. If you didn't get a chance to see the original and the closer inspection, click here for our earlier story.
