Dry Weather Increases Fire Danger
Recent dry weather has made conditions ideas for wild fires.
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for the entire state until 10 p.m as the potential is great due to gusty winds, low relative humidity and dry fine fuels.
Outdoor burning is not recommended as a fire could spread and burn quickly out of control making it difficult to contain.
Wildfires were a problem last spring with fires flaring up in the Meadowlands, Barnegat, the Pinelands and along the Atlantic City Expressway.
