Officers arrived to the home around 11:08 pm on Monday night to find a 2005 Toyota Tacoma, on the front lawn with extensive front end and rear end damage, a 2010 Honda CR-V that had crashed into the garage and residence with extensive rear end damage and then they saw a 2021 Hyundai Elantra about 600 feet from the home facing southbound on the northbound grass shoulder of Route 571 with extensive front end damage.

Police spoke to witnesses who were at the scene and learned that the driver of a 2021 Hyundai Elantra was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic on Route 571 and while trying to veer over to the right lane of the road, struck the back of a 2005 Toyota Tacoma who was heading southbound in the right lane.

Due to the speed at which she struck the back of the vehicle, the Tacoma was forced off the road and onto the Lockhart Street property and then inside the actual home after hitting the back of a 2010 Honda CR-V, which was unoccupied, and parked in the driveway and then struck a shed on the property.

The impact led to the 2010 Honda CR-V moving forward into the residence and garage.

Meanwhile, the 2021 Hyundai Elantra kept going south on Route 571 and crossed over the fog line and centerline several times, police said, before she finally stopped on the northbound grass shoulder.

When her car stopped, the driver, identified later as 29-year old Alexis Connotillo of Manchester, fled on foot before police arrived on the scene.

The driver of the 2005 Toyota Tacoma, 70-year old, Dominic Frizino of Manchester, was uninjured at the time of the accident.

The Manchester Township Building Inspector determined that it was safe for the residents to remain in the household after examining the impacts.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and so is the search for Alexis Connotillo, but at this point, police said that the contributing factors of the accident are, unsafe speed, improper lane change and following too closely.
