New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy has signed off on legislation that looks to see about the possibility of starting the school day later here in the Garden State.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT A LATER START FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS?

In a recent NJ.COM article, it was discussed how the Governor is looking to test the waters on a later school day. The proposal would see high schools start their day after 8:30 a.m. The move comes after recent reports of adolescents and lack of good sleeping habits.

The question is, is this a good idea? Would this mess up the morning routine for parents? Are the kids better to possibly start the day with the parents gone and then maybe come home to an empty house? Would 2 hours make a difference in how much sleep kids get? Would it affect sports in schools? Will kids simply stay up later?
