‘Clear The Shelters’ in Ocean County

This Saturday, August 19th, is the national Clear the Shelters event. Hundreds of animal shelters across the country are taking part, including the Toms River Animal Shelter in Toms River, the Northern Ocean County Animal Facility in Jackson, and the Jersey Shore Animal Center in Brick.

Toms River Animal Shelter is taking part from 1pm til 4pm you must bring a photo ID and be prepared to fill out an adoption application. The same adoption requirements (vet check, application) will be applicable. However, all adoption fees will be waived if you are approved for a pet on this date.

The Jersey Shore Animal Center in Brick will NOT be doing on-site adoptions, but are promoting their shelter from 11a-2p.
