It's The Knights of Columbus Founders Day

From the moment of our founding in 1882, charity has been the first principle of the Knights of Columbus. We are men of faith and men of action. ~ K of C

Today is the Knights of Columbus Founders Day, established March 29th 1882. There are area chapters in Ocean County, Monmouth County and Burlington County. The Knights work with Catholic Parishes and Charities. In Ocean County there are 18 member councils that represent over 4,000 brother Knights and their families.

I've often thought about becoming a Knight - it would be full circle for me from being an alter boy as a child to a Knight as an adult. Congrats to the K of C on all their success here at the Jersey Shore Shore and congrats on Founders Day.
