Call Me Weird, But I like Weeds

It's those annoying weeds we see all over our lawn.  Maybe driving down the road on the side of the road we see those beautiful wild flowers or weeds as we know them.  I love them!  I choose to keep those weeds, at least the flowering weeds.  Right now in my yard I have these beautiful purple ones.  So what I do is, mow around the weeds and call it my purple patch.  My neighbors that can see in my yard probably think I'm a little wacky, but that's OK...my grass has some purple in it.  Then I'll mow over the purple patch when the little flowering weeds go away and just become those annoying weeds that we all hate to pull out.  For now I'll enjoy my purple patch and hope that more flowering weeds pop up!
