Are you making sure you don't step on any cracks, get near any black cats, and avoid ladders today, Friday the 13th?

There are a few different theories on where the legend of Friday the 13th being unlucky comes from - everything from Christian legends to Greek and Hispanic cultures.

Of course, in modern society, it's more related with a killer in a hockey mask than ancient superstitions. But still, whether people admit it or not, a lot of us are a little extra wary when the date rolls around.
