An Open Letter to Those Throwing Used Gloves on the Ground

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that people were actually discarding their used latex gloves on the ground.

This would be considered gross on a regular day, but now that we are in the middle of a pandemic, it's not only gross but dangerous!

To those throwing their used gloves on the ground:

You probably think that doing this prevents you from bringing the germs into your home. Did you consider that someone will eventually have to pick up your used gloves, and now you have put them at risk?

It literally takes the same amount of time to throw your used gloves into a trash can - which is obviously the safer option. Or, you can bring a disposable bag with you and put your gloves in there to toss when you return home. Either way, please stop throwing your used gloves on the ground. Do better.
