A Busy Ocean County Wawa Will Close On October 22nd

If you make the Wawa on Route 70 at Route 539 in Whiting a regular stop of yours, you'll have to re-work your plans in two weeks.

It'll be closing on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019.

But, not to worry, it's not closing for good, it's just next on the list for a remodel.

You'll probably remember that it was just about this same time last year that the Route 37 Wawa did the same thing, closing for a few weeks before reopening with a new look.

The Wawa website is anticipating a month for the remodel, with a projected reopening date of Friday, November 22nd.

There are a few other New Jersey Wawa locations that are also on the remodel list for October and November, with Delran, Berlin, and Flemington all next in line for overhauls.
