A tribute to those lost on September 11th, 2001 has come to Toms River for a permanent home in Ocean County.

This week, the Pleasant Plains Volunteer Fire department took delivery of a steel beam from the World Trade Center.

The beam will serve as a memorial to the police and firefighters who lost their lives on 9/11.
