A fugitive wanted on charges of shooting at a police officer Thursday in Ocean County was arrested 10 hours later at New York Penn Station.

A resident of the Lacey Inn allegedly kicked a police officer in the eye and kicked out the rear window of the police vehicle during his arrest Tuesday for a disturbance at the inn.

A new initiative is being launched to help prevent domestic violence in the Garden State.
