A former Monmouth County resident has been indicted on charges alleging that he made threatening phone calls and emails to elected officials, judges, law enforcement and attorneys while also phoning in false bomb threats to local and state government offices, police, two law firms and a business.

A beach replenishment project is about to get underway this month in Long Branch, Sea Bright and Monmouth Beach and continuing through the winter months until its completed.

Five Ocean County and eight Monmouth County schools are among 157 across the state who are participating in the department of agriculture's fresh fruit and vegetable program.
