The police chief in Los Angeles says the small number of people who are committing violence as others peacefully protest won’t be tolerated.

Thirteen people were arrested after they allegedly broke windows, attacked people on sidewalks and at one point raided a Wal-Mart Monday night.

Several hundred people spent a third night protesting the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

Zimmerman trial juror talks

A juror in the George Zimmerman trial who is already planning to write a book says the Sanford police detective who investigated the case made a big impression on her.

The woman known as Juror B37 told CNN’s Anderson Cooper Monday evening that Detective Chris Serino would have been used to dealing with murders and similar cases. He would have known how to spot a liar, and yet he testified that he believed Zimmerman.

The juror also said Rachel Jeantel’s testimony didn’t seem very credible, and that defense attorney Don West’s joke during opening statements wasn’t funny. Jeantel was talking with Trayvon Martin before he was fatally shot by Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer who claimed self-defense. Zimmerman was acquitted Saturday of second-degree murder in the shooting.
