Your Next Food Road Trip – The New Jersey Donut Trail!

There are plenty of ways to go on a culinary road trip through the Garden State on a nice weekend afternoon. There are lots of wine trails and food truck festivals, but here's one that will have you waddling back home with a fully belly at the end of the day - The New Jersey Donut Trail.

Presented by tourism website OnlyInYourState, the donut trail brings sweet treat seekers down the Shore from Middletown to Ocean City.

And the best represented? Of course our very own Ocean County favorites!

With 4 out of the 7 entries on the list, local favorites Top That! Donuts (Point Beach), Ob-Co's (Toms River), Uncle Dood's (Toms River), and Shore Good Donuts (Ship Bottom) all get shout outs for their fried delights.

I mean, Uncle Dood's was named one of the best in the country, so we already knew that Ocean County is doing something right where dessert is concerned!
