X Factor Disappoints

The ratings weren't what a lot of people thought they might be for the premiere of X Factor, even though 12 million viewers isn't bad. It got me thinking though, between X, The Voice and Idol, are we getting overloaded on the singing competition shows? I mean, many times, these shows are asking for 3 or 4 or more hours a week of our time, and who has that kind of time?   We all know the networks would never overdo a good thing, right?
