Last week we shared with you a video of the demolition work that was being done on the fire damaged buildings on Robbins Street in downtown Toms River. If you've been in the area this week, you've probably noticed the new gaping hole at the corner of Robbins Street and Washington Street.

It's strange to take the walk that I've been taking for the better part of two years, down the street and around the corner for lunch at Capone's, with a big hole there instead of buildings.

Of course, in the end, hopefully this will be a good thing, with the possibilities of new businesses and opportunities coming to downtown. In the meantime, don't forget that you can still get some of the best grub in Ocean County right there, as Capone's continues to dish out their fantastic food while the work continues!
