Go Back In Time With Us This Thursday As We Flash Back To 1970
It was July 30th, 1970.
The Ocean County Fair was in full swing, and WOBM's Steve Paul was broadcasting live from the fairgrounds.
Thankfully for us today in 2018, Steve kept a full recording from that very broadcast and has been kind enough to share it with us.
With the help of our Chief Engineer Tom Trembly, we've been able to digitize the 48 year old reel-to-reel tape and will present it to you, the WOBM audience, on our 50th birthday, this Thursday, March 1st!
Starting at 8:00 on Thursday night, you'll hear it all!
From the WOBM personalities, to the music, and even the commercials from 1970.
It's the oldest known recording of 92.7 WOBM, and it'll be on the air on the night of our golden anniversary!
