Why is There Gum in the Elevator?

It just makes me think, "Why?"

We are a professional working place and why would someone put their gum on the wall of the elevator?  I just don't get why someone would decide to take it out of their mouth and think...I'm just putting my gum on the wall of the elevator?  Now is it possible that they were blowing a bubble and it blew out of their mouth..maybe, but wouldn't you pick it up?

My blogs are usually happy and sometimes helpful but this could be fun..it's about those little annoyances that just drive you crazy.
