Driving into the studio today, it was definitely apparent that a long winter has had quite an effect on our Ocean County roadways.  Now that the spring thaw is slowly beginning the potholes are appearing! So where are the worst potholes in Ocean County? While driving up Route 37 in Toms River today, quite a few potholes were appearing in the right lane. They were pretty large too! Plus, with parade traffic on the highway they were tough to avoid!

I also noticed a few smaller potholes along the Garden State Parkway too. Of course, let's not even get started on some of the larger ones that are appearing on side streets throughout Ocean County.

Plus, it's costing us money by damaging our cars! In fact, a 2010 study from American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials found that potholes road conditions cost U.S. motorists $67 billion per year in car repairs. That's $335 per motorist in the country. But guess what? Potholes cost the average New Jersey driver $596.

So help us, help you! Where are the worst potholes in Ocean County? Comment below, and we'll create a list so you can avoid the craters as you drive along our roadways.
