We're not quite there yet, but as summer makes the transition to autumn next week, the fall colors aren't really all that far away.

Earlier today, WOBM Meteorologist Dan Zarrow gave us an idea of what to expect when the leaves start to turn.

So now I want to know where you turn to see the best fall colors locally.

With plenty of nature in and around Ocean County, from Allaire State Park to the North, Double Trouble State Park in the middle, and Wharton State Forest to the South, there's no lack of destinations within a reasonable distance.

Depending on where you go, you can make your foliage finding into a day trip, or even a full weekend getaway.

So when the leaves start to turn, where are your favorite places to take in the colors? Share with the class and let us know in the comments section!
