When you drive the same way to and from work every day you start to learn the idiosyncrasies of the area. And, if you're like me, you get to know the general timing of the traffic lights, too. Until, of course, they change them.

I don't think an intersection has been fiddled with more than the lights at the Brick Municipal complex off exit 90.

I can understand the reasoning behind changing the timing of lights - they don't necessarily want people to know how long or short a light will stay red, as it may encourage people to speed through yellow lights, but I feel like the changes are always drastic at that intersection.

There have been times that the green light for Chambersbridge Road stayed green for a good, long time. And there have been times that if you were just coming off the Parkway when it turned green, you'd miss it.

On the other hand, when you're going to go around that jughandle, if you happen to cross just as the light is about to turn, you could miss it by the time you make it around the whole loop.

Within the last week or two, they've changed the timing once again. They definitely like to keep drivers guessing, that's for sure.

What intersections do you notice the timing of the lights at? Tell us in the comments!
