What’s Best Thing About Being a Teacher in Ocean County?

It's National Teacher Appreciation Day so we are honoring those of you who teach our kids every day.  I hope your students are on their best behavior today!  Even if they're acting up, and not giving gifts or thanks, I hope you know what an important role you're playing in their lives.

Don't we all remember some of our favorite teachers?  Grade school teachers who helped make learning fun.  High school teachers who nurtured our developing talents.   College professors who challenged us and became mentors.  I feel fortunate to have had some memorable educators, and today's a good day to say THANKS!

It must be so rewarding for a teacher to see a student grasp a concept.  To watch a kid have that moment when he/she "gets it" must make a teacher's day.  I wonder what else educators like about their work.
