What Was Your First Concert In (or near) New Jersey?

There's something floating around Facebook right now that I thought I'd ask you WOBM listeners:  What's the first concert you ever saw?  Please share in the Comments section below.  It would be fun to see if any of you were at the same show.

Do any of you recall seeing David Cassidy wearing a white bellbottom outfit with fringe on the sleeves?  I think that was my first show.  It was at Madison Square Garden around 1974 if memory serves.  I was 8 at the time.  Soon after, I got to see my beloved KC and the Sunshine Band at Nassau Collosseum.  I was lucky that my parents loved music so they supported my going to shows at a young age (with adult chaperones of course.)
